Friday, December 25, 2015
In this article, we’ll follow certain steps on how to show & use the Address Toolbar in Windows 10:
Step 1:
Right click on the Windows Taskbar. Go to “Toolbars” & click on “Address” Toolbar.
The Windows Taskbar will now display on the Address Toolbar.
Step 2:
If you wish to change the size of the toolbar, you need to uncheck whether your Windows Taskbar is locked.
If your Taskbar is locked, you can remove it by right-clicking on the Windows Taskbar & clicking on “Lock the Taskbar”.
Hence, your Windows Taskbar will be unlocked.
Step 3:
Now, you can drag the Address Toolbar towards the pinned icons on the Windows Taskbar to make it appear larger.
You can also use the “Drop down” button & “Refresh” button in the Address Toolbar to “display the history of websites accessed through the default web browser” & “refresh the current website in the web browser” respectively.
Step 4:
For accessing a website through the Address Toolbar, enter the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of a particular website and Press “Enter” key.
For instance, we’ve entered the URL of Facebook i.e. www.facebook.com.
Now, the website will open through the default web browser specified by the user.
For instance, “Edge” is currently the default web browser in our system. So, the website will open through the Edge web browser.
